Official Jailbreak for iPhone 2.1 Firmware Released OSX Only

There is now an official iphone-dev.org version of QuickPwn that supports the 2.1 firmware released by Apple on friday.

Some of the popular press and blogs have been backing the opposition. :-)

While criticism and competition is fine it should be reported correctly, with all the facts. and certainly minus the FUD. Do you guys think we are “less and less relevant with each passing day” ? We don’t think so, and we certainly prefer our hacks to theirs. ;-) Though even if the world deems us irrelevant, the iPhone family of devices is still fun to hack!

PC World Reviews Apple OS X 10.5 (Leopard)

PC World reviews the newest release of Apple's Max OSX version 10.5 codenamed "Leopard". In this review "Edward Mendelson" states one big remark.

"First: despite minor problems, it's by far the best operating system ever written for the vast majority of consumers, with dozens of new features that have real practical value—like truly automated backups, preview images in folders, and notes and to-do lists integrated into the mail program".

I have only played with Leopard in the last few days and seen it in action on a co-workers laptop, and I'm starting to thing more and more about purchasing a Macbook Pro!

We can only imagine the stifled giggles which were brought on by this screen shot.
